How is Holistic Veterinary Care Different?

Holistic veterinary care is based on love and respect for all walks of life. We strive to make sure that all living things have the best possible quality of life throughout their life cycle. As holistic veterinarians, we know how much your pet means to you – so we make sure to take care of them through all stages of their life. Here are just a few ways we strive to be different from general veterinary care.

  • Empathy.
We don’t want your furry friend to go through any more stress or pain than they must. When we see a problem, we think about what treatment will be easiest on the patient, not what is easiest for us.
  • Drug use, or lack thereof.
We try to solve problems with as little drug intervention as possible, keeping natural practices such as acupuncture, essential oil therapy, and food therapy at the forefront of our mind when making treatment plans.
  • We see the animal, not just symptoms.
Holistic medicine is about finding and curing the root of the problem, not just masking the symptoms. We strive to consider all issues that may be affecting your pet and make a unique treatment plan for them specifically to ensure that they live a long and healthy life.
